Down to Yokohama to meet up with our friends and to take the Integra to the shipping docks! Its going to America!

Return to Izu Peninsula
Headed south of Tokyo to Izu Peninsula for Japan's Golden Week. This time we were able to get out and explore the awesome nature around that area. Lava flow waterfalls and a dormant volcano.

Return to Fuji
Last fall was to capture the autumn colors around Fuji. This time was for the cherry blossoms. And boy were they blossoming. How many pictures is too many? Everywhere we went was another perfectly picturesque shot.

Nozawa Onsen
We took a 3 day weekend to the west side of Japan for a visit to an old hot springs town, called Nozawa Onsen. We did a day of skiing and a day of stamp collecting. The kids had an amazing time.

We took a three day weekend trip across the country to the snowy world heritage village of Shirakawago.

Yamagata Prefecture
Up to Yamagata Prefecture for a mountain temple, a crater lake (which we couldn't see), and beautiful fall colors (depending on the elevation). Nonetheless, a cool experience for sure!

Nagoya Finally!
Down to Nagoya for the first time since we've been living in Japan. Another effect of coronavirus. But better late than never to see Uncle Yuhei!

We drove south of Tokyo to the Peninsula of Izu to visit our friends from Yokohama, which we met in America last year.
