Hitachi Seaside Park

We are getting excited about all the flowers of Japan starting to bloom, so we went to a popular flower viewing area by the ocean. It is actually a little early for the flowers to be blooming, but we just wanted to get an early preview of the area. And surprisingly we discovered there is a kids amusement park at the front of the park! Lucky kids! So we turned it into a day of rides.

We also took a Ferris wheel ride to get a good view of the entire park and plan out our walk. We wanted to see the famous blue flower field. It wasn’t in full bloom, but they were still looking pretty cool.

We also walked around other parts of the park and explored a bit. There was a giant field in the middle, where people were having picnics and playing.

Afterwards we went to Costco since there is one nearby. Then we drove home. Success!
