Bandai Ski Day
I feel like we go up to Fukushima more than any other prefecture. I guess there are just a lot of things to do up there. It was a 2.5 hour drive and we left at 7am.
We met the kids’ friend, Kai, up there around 9:30am. The kids spent the whole day on the kiddie hill while the parents took turns watching the kids and going up the mountain.
The weather was pretty crazy up there. We have learned during our time in Japan that mountain weather is extreme. One minute it was a blue sky, the next minute, you couldn’t see 10ft in front of you.
The kids played so hard and only took one rest other than lunch. Nathan could barely move.
The kids were great all day and we had so much fun. The place closed at 5pm, so we were back home by 8pm. Not a bad day trip at all!
