Mt Jeans

There is a mountain that is much closer than the one’s we’ve been going to recently. Its still in our prefecture and it only takes an hour and a half to get there. There was fresh snow from the night before and the snow continued to pour while we were there. At times, you could barely see through it. It reminded me of the Donkey Kong Country snow level.

The kids built another igloo, but unfortunately some other kids destroyed it while we were eating lunch. It was fine though because most of the time the kids were playing in the little play houses. They actually only went sledding one time each.

The snow on the mountain was the deepest we’ve been in. It was really fun and super comfortable if you wiped out. At least for me. Heather twisted her knee a bit, but she’s fine.

The place closed at 4pm. There is not much night skiing in Japan for some reason. So we were back home before 6pm.
