Driving Practice

My first day driving alone was Friday coming back from work. I decided I should get some practice this weekend, so I decided to drive myself up to the Nikko area and go to Lake Chuzenji and the Senjougahara Moor. It was about an hour each way. The lake is about 1300m above sea level. (4200ft) Its a really cool site to drive up the mountain, then see an awesome lake when you get to the top.

Sweet pix! How hard is it to drive there? I assumed that it might feel weird but that if you were just really careful and paid attention, it wouldn’t be too difficult. I am excited to try some day soon!

Thanks! The hardest part about driving is making a right hand turn. Just keep thinking, “stay left, stay left, stay left”. But you are right, if you are just really careful and pay attention, you can do it. Its mentally straining to be constantly thinking though. Also every time I put my turn signal on, I hit my wipers. The combi stocks are opposite.
